About The Position

The Fueler oversees refueling vehicles and other machinery, ensuring that fueling is efficient and timely. The role also follows and enforces safety policies and regulations among staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required. The Fueler fuels equipment, performs inspections and maintenance, conducts light and mechanical repairs, orders parts, and documents work as required by company policy or regulation. Duties may be performed during the day or night and in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
Ability to complete work tasks under adverse weather conditions, including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain.

Responsibilities

Fuel equipment daily.
Conduct light repairs on all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working conditions.
Perform annual inspections, evaluations, and repairs.
Order parts for mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and services.
Document repairs and inspections as required by company policy or regulation.
Perform mechanical repairs when needed.
Operate service vehicles safely and effectively.
Read and interpret parts and maintenance manuals for equipment.
Perform duties during the day or night in varying weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Adhere to and enforce safety policies and regulations among staff.
