About The Position

WE Transport LLC is seeking a Fueler to join their team. This role involves fueling vehicles in various weather conditions, checking and refilling vehicle fluids, verifying DOT stickers and registrations, and maintaining records related to fuel pump operations. The Fueler will also be responsible for maintaining shop cleanliness, ensuring garage equipment and tools are in safe and usable condition, and assisting with vehicle diagnostics and repairs. This position requires general shop assistance, including simple vehicle repairs like changing light bulbs and mirrors, and recording vehicle maintenance information on a tablet. Adherence to company safety policies and performance of other assigned duties are also expected.

Requirements

Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Basic mechanical aptitude for simple repairs.
Ability to maintain records accurately.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Ability to report issues to management.

Nice To Haves

Experience with vehicle maintenance.
Familiarity with shop equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

Fuel vehicles throughout all types of weather conditions (shelter will be provided).
Check oil & all other fluid levels and refill as needed.
Check dates on DOT Stickers and vehicle registrations.
Maintain all records associated with fuel pump operation.
Maintain shop cleanliness including surrounding shop area.
Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
Assist with assessing vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
Report obvious vehicle and/or shop area problems to shop manager.
General shop helper including simple vehicle repairs such as changing light bulbs and mirrors.
Record vehicle maintenance information such as gallons, mileage and vehicle number on tablet.
Adhere to company work safety policies
Perform other duties as assigned.
