About The Position

Jackson Energy Logistics is seeking an experienced Fuel Transport Driver with an excellent driving record to join their team. This role involves operating a tractor-tanker combination to deliver fuel to retail store partners. Drivers will perform pre-trip inspections, and are responsible for the safe and accurate loading, transporting, and unloading of petroleum products. The company offers opportunities for career growth, with several managers having started as drivers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must have a current Class A CDL license with active HazMat endorsement and TWIC card where required.
• Must be able to operate equipment with manual transmission.
• Must successfully complete a Jackson Energy Logistics driving test, background check, and a DOT physical and drug test.
• No tickets (points) or accidents in the past 12 months and a maximum of 1.5 points in the past 3 years.
• Possess a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Tanker experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting the community.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-tanker combination to deliver fuel to retail store partners.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on the tractor and tanker per DOT regulations.
• Accurately and safely load, transport, and unload petroleum products.
• Understand and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
