About The Position
Lanman Transportation, a leader in the industry for over 20 years, is seeking a dedicated Fuel Hauler to join their driver team. This role is crucial for ensuring successful partnerships with customers by safely driving a tractor with a tanker to make on-time deliveries without incident. The position requires a clean driving record and demonstrated knowledge in fuel/hazmat deliveries. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year CDL experience
- CDL- Class A
- Valid DOT physical
- Clean driving record
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs
- Initiative and willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience: Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- License/Certification: CDL A (Required)
- Background Screen Required

- Preferred Hazmat/tanker endorsement
Responsibilities
- Safely drive tractor with tanker to make deliveries on time, without incident.
- Drive tractor/tanker truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner; per dispatch.
- Perform pre trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness.
- Electronically complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of service etc.
- Have working knowledge of DOT regulations regarding operating a CMV, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency.
