Fuel Transport Driver - Class A, Tanker and Hazmat - Oklahoma City
About The Position
Texas Pride Fuels is seeking a Class A Fuel Transport Driver with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements to join our team in Oklahoma City. This role involves transporting and delivering hazardous materials (diesel fuel) in a full-size tanker trailer to customers within our Oklahoma market. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving skills, a thorough understanding of hazmat safety, and compliance with DOT regulations. The schedule involves a rotating 5 days on/2 days off, then 5 days on/3 days off pattern, with expected weekly hours of 60-70. This position offers competitive pay starting at $25/hour, with opportunities for raises, overtime, a sign-on bonus, and per diem. Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X)
- Operation of manual transmission (No E Restriction)
- Minimum of 2 years Class A truck driving experience
- Minimum of 2 years Tanker/Fluid truck driving experience.
- Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance.
- Knowledge of OSHA Compliance.
- Ability to proficiently speak, write, and read the English language.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, “Hours of Service”, inspection and maintenance basics.
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION.
- Must satisfactorily pass a drug test, alcohol test, and background check.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry.
- Must be insurable with the company.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver diesel fuel via class A tanker-trailer combination from terminal to customer
- Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections
- Adhere to all DOT, Hazmat, and Texas Pride Fuels safety regulations
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and customer delivery documentation
- Communicate with logistics partners to ensure customer needs are met
