About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Fuel Technician II for Creech Air Force Base. This role is responsible for efficiently fueling assigned equipment and all aircraft, performing work in a timely manner, and maintaining adequate production to meet service schedules.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
Possess a current, valid Class B CDL License.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds to a height of 66 inches and climb steps and ladders.
Must possess basic mathematical skills.
Qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.
Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
Must be able to read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

Receives, stores, and issues ground and aircraft fuel of various types.
Receives, stores, and issues cryogenics products.
Inspects/refuels vehicles and ensures all equipment, tire pressures, and fluids levels are at appropriate levels.
Maintains and operates the Fuels Laboratory to assure quality fuels, cryogenics, and lubricants.
Performs quality control checks on all Fuel storage facilities and input repair requests as needed.
Operates/refuels vehicles and assures proper grounding before dispensing any grade of fuel.
Assures all operations are conducted in a safe manner and stops work if hazardous conditions are observed.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
