About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of functions on fleet vehicles, equipment, and industrial machinery, adhering to company policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and utilizing personal knowledge of the equipment. Key duties include driving a refueling tanker with specialized computer fuel management equipment to locate trailers for fueling, checking and adding fluids to refrigerated trailers, maintaining fuel logs, refilling the fuel tanker using safety equipment, assisting in the bulk refueling process, conducting fuel audits, and cleaning/detailing equipment. Responsibilities may expand beyond those listed.

Requirements

• At least 20 years old
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before their start date)
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized fuel-management system
• Able to read, write, and solve math problems
• Able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member
• Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work
• Must show commitment to Publix’s mission
• Current Orlando Distribution associate

Responsibilities

• Driving a refueling tanker using specialized computer fuel management equipment to locate trailers for fueling
