Koda Energy is looking for a Plant Helper to join our team in Shakopee Minnesota. The plant helper is responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the plant work areas. Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Previous experience using heavy wheeled equipment, such as skid steers and wheel loaders.
Ability to become proficient at operating a front-end loader and bobcat
Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, planned and unplanned shutdowns and vacation relief
Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme weather, at heights and confined spaces
Ability to obtain a Special Boiler Operator’s license from the State of Minnesota

Responsibilities

Unloading biomass fuel from trucks and load fuel into the appropriate hopper
Operating and maintaining fuel handling equipment such as chain conveyors, belt conveyors, bag houses, pumps, valves and air compressors
Maintaining a safe work environment by using personal protective equipment, participate in safety training, follow safety procedures and adhering to all applicable SDSs
Recording data such as pressures, temperatures and flows and perform trend analysis on data
Maintaining neat and accurate records, both written and electronic
Completing preventative and corrective maintenance items
All other duties or responsibilities as assigned
