About The Position

FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with multiple locations in the US, has an immediate need for a Lead Fuel Farm Mechanic for aircraft fueling at the Denver Airport. The Lead Mechanic is responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair operations of the Tank Farm and Hydrant system. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, supervising a team of mechanics, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining high-quality standards. The Lead Mechanic also assists with complex repairs and ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical certification preferred)
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, with leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and pipeline systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Pass a federal fingerprint background check
  • Have proof of US work eligibility
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of mechanics
  • Perform and oversee repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections on Tank Farm and Hydrant System
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Train and mentor junior mechanics
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs
  • Communicate with management regarding repair status, costs, and timelines
  • Become proficient with Saim tracking/scheduling program
  • Other duties as assigned
