This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years engineering experience - OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of engineering experience (for Principal Test Conductor)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years engineering experience - OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of engineering experience (for Sr Principal Test Conductor)
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
  • Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Prior Flight Test Control Room qualification
  • Ability to obtain / maintain FAA Class III Medical
  • Must be willing and able to support extended / off nominal Flight Test Execution campaigns, to include occasional second / third shift, weekends, and business travel.
  • Clear and concise communication style for management of Safety of Flight and Safety of Test parameters
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

  • Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility to Plan, coordinate, and execute a safe and effective Mission Systems flight test as in-flight Test Conductor
  • Flight Test card generation and execution to support program cost and schedule
  • Management of flight test requirements and associated metrics
  • Develops and executes pre/post-flight mission briefings and post-flight reporting
  • Coordination with multiple customer organizations to develop Detailed Test Plans
