About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Nurse to join their team at Debra K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is responsible for conducting CQI studies and audits, monitoring trends, and providing statistical analysis for all QA/CQI indicators. The CQI Nurse will also prepare written reports and presentations on findings, ensure all staff adhere to infection control policies and procedures, and collaborate with healthcare, laboratory, security staff, and state/local agencies to prevent and control infections in the correctional environment. Additionally, educating staff and patients on infectious diseases and safe infection control practices is a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
