About The Position

This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and HR programs, policies, and regulations. It requires collecting samples for testing, conducting hourly food safety and quality audits, inspecting departments before daily startup, and performing product reviews to meet customer specifications. The job is located in Wyalusing, PA and is a full-time position with available shifts on the 1st shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work around and with raw meat
• Ability to work in cold or hot temperatures
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
• Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced environment
• Ability to rotate through various positions/tasks
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Nice To Haves

• Prior work history in a production background
• Previous Cargill experience
• Previous food safety experience
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
