About The Position

As an FSQA Technician, you'll help keep Caviness grind plant beef products on-spec, on-safe, and ready for customers-every single shift. You exist to protect quality, food safety, and compliance while supporting production in real time. Key responsibilities include monitoring and inspecting production processes; verifying product meets Company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements; and maintaining compliance with USDA and FSIS expectations through clear communication and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years as a quality assurance technician
• Experience in beef processing or a grind plant setting
• Knowledge of GMPs plus USDA/FSIS food safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid communication and recordkeeping
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to handle repetitive, physical work (standing/walking, stairs, concrete floors)
• Available for Monday-Friday 5:00am to end of production; occasional Saturday/overtime

Nice To Haves

• HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Some college and food science/production training preferred
