FSP Scientist - Formulations, Drug Delivery

Thermo Fisher Scientific•South San Francisco, CA
•$32 - $39•Onsite

About The Position

The FSP Scientist supports parenteral formulation development and drug delivery in the Synthetic Molecule Pharmaceutics group, part of a client’s Research and Early Development organization. The group helps transition synthetic molecules and novel modalities—including nucleic acids, peptides, and conjugates—from preclinical research into clinical development. It develops formulations, drug delivery approaches, and manufacturing processes for therapeutics administered through parenteral routes such as intravenous, subcutaneous, intrathecal, and intravitreal delivery. This is a fully onsite role at a customer site in South San Francisco, California. The scientist prepares drug products and novel formulations, characterizes them with a range of analytical techniques, interprets experimental data, conducts literature research, and communicates findings and recommendations to cross-functional colleagues. The role also involves maintaining an electronic laboratory notebook. The work takes place in a laboratory setting and may involve PPE and exposure to potentially hazardous elements commonly found in laboratory or healthcare environments.
