About The Position

As a Fruit Expert & Designer at Edible Arrangements®, you will help create memorable customer experiences through beautifully crafted fresh fruit arrangements and exceptional customer service. You will assist customers with orders placed by phone, in-store, and online, ensuring each order is processed accurately and fulfilled on time. You will also prepare and design a variety of products, including fruit bouquets, dipped fruit boxes, platters, and dessert boards. By working collaboratively with customers, team members, and store leadership, you will help maintain a welcoming store environment and deliver the quality and service customers expect from Edible Arrangements®.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn and consistently follow food preparation, product quality, cleanliness, and inspection standards.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of the role, accept feedback, and continuously develop new skills.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to consistently report to work on time and fulfill assigned shifts.
• Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback from supervisors and managers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and recommend products that enhance their experience.
• Receive, enter, and process customer orders accurately across phone, in-store, and online channels.
• Prepare and design fruit bouquets, dipped fruit boxes, platters, dessert boards, and other products in accordance with company standards, recipes, and portion guidelines.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures to maintain product quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment by cleaning workstations, equipment, utensils, and dishes, and taking out the trash as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to fulfill orders accurately, meet deadlines, and support daily store operations.
• Follow direction from store leadership and assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
