About The Position

The Frozen Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the frozen food department. This includes selling and stocking frozen food items, receiving, storing, and merchandising frozen products. The role involves creating and building promotional displays and endcaps, ordering product, assisting customers with locating merchandise, and engaging in suggestive selling. Key responsibilities also include rotating product to ensure code date compliance, communicating politely and professionally with customers, associates, and management, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. The Frozen Manager will supervise the department to ensure sales goals, gross profit percent goals, and distribution goals are met.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all aspects of grocery store operation, specifically Frozen
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends
• Excellent communicate skills with vendors, customers and employees
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Must possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written), good leadership and interpersonal skills
• The ability to get along with customers, vendors, suppliers and associates
• Must be able to motivate and lead others
