About The Position

The Frozen Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Frozen Foods Department, including daily operations, associate supervision, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role ensures product quality, food safety compliance, and achievement of sales, shrink, and labor goals.

Requirements

  • Manage daily Frozen department operations to ensure efficient workflow and service excellence
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly address customer questions or concerns
  • Maintain product freshness, availability, and proper rotation
  • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Frozen department associates
  • Create work schedules and assign daily tasks to meet operational needs
  • Conduct performance feedback and support associate development
  • Order frozen products and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and product quality
  • Control shrink through effective ordering, rotation, and inventory practices
  • Conduct regular inventory counts as required
  • Execute planograms, merchandising standards, and promotional programs
  • Ensure displays and frozen cases are properly stocked, signed, and faced
  • Drive department sales, margin, and profitability goals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
  • Maintain freezer temperatures, logs, and sanitation records
  • Ensure associates follow safe food handling and company procedures
  • Complete departmental paperwork, reports, and operational documentation
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures as assigned
  • Partner with store leadership to support overall store operations
