About The Position

A Frozen Dairy Associate is responsible for maintaining, stocking, and rotating frozen and dairy products while providing excellent customer service in a grocery or retail environment. This position is essential for ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and smooth operation of the frozen and dairy sections within a store.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting; familiarity with frozen and dairy products.
• Strong customer service, communication, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in cold environments, stand for long periods, lift and carry products up to 60 lbs, and perform repetitive motions such as bending and stocking.

Nice To Haves

• 0–2 years of supervisory or retail experience may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, answer questions, provide product recommendations, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Receive, store, and stock frozen and dairy products; check inventory levels; rotate products to ensure freshness; remove expired or damaged items.
• Operate and maintain freezers, refrigerators, and milk coolers, ensuring proper temperature and food safety compliance.
• Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and cold chain compliance, including temperature monitoring and proper handling of perishable items.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and well-stocked; maintain displays and signage; handle deliveries efficiently.
• Assist in training new associates, collaborate with team members, and support department managers in achieving sales and operational goals.
• Assist with ordering, inventory control, and reporting product quality issues to management.
