About The Position

Corning is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead logistics operations including shipping, receiving, and packaging at one of our cable manufacturing facilities. This role carries direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates and contingent workforce members, with genuine opportunity to grow and progress across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
3+ years of experience in a production environment
5+ years of logistics, shipping, and/or receiving experience
3+ years of supervisory experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

SAP system knowledge with a focus on shipping and inventory functions
Demonstrated Lean manufacturing capabilities

Responsibilities

Lead safe, efficient night shift operations across warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas; proactively identify and report unsafe conditions to maintain a safe work environment
Direct shipping, receiving, and packaging activities to meet operational goals for quality, cost, and on-time performance; develop, train, and coach team members to drive accountability for individual and team objectives
Manage employee time and attendance to support accurate and timely payroll processing
Maintain metric tracking and reporting for shipping and receiving performance and costs
Ensure accuracy of raw material and finished goods inventory; oversee inventory management processes and reporting
