About The Position

Ambyint is seeking a Frontend Software Engineering Lead to drive the adoption of AI-powered engineering practices and lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance application software for their cloud-native platform. This role involves leading the evolution of front-end services and APIs, building and leading end-to-end features across cloud, web, and mobile infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The lead will also experiment with new technologies, drive Agile development, establish coding standards, manage team alignment, and champion a high-performance engineering culture while guiding team members' growth.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in taking a feature from concept to delivery and support.
Working knowledge of Javascript/NodeJS, React and Python.
Working knowledge of React frameworks like NextJS and the concept of server side rendering.
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Experience with non-relational data stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Experience with SQL based database systems such as SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.
Experience with cloud computing, specifically AWS.
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Experience addressing challenges and driving team success through mentorship, guidance, and a focus on delivering impactful solutions.
Proven ability to lead and guide teams through complex projects, from initial concept to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
BS/MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven leadership experience, mentoring and guiding teams to success while delivering impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the adoption of AI-powered engineering practices, defining standards for agentic development workflows that improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity.
Apply AI-assisted and agentic development workflows in day-to-day engineering work, helping the team adopt effective practices that accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance application software for our cloud-native platform, aligning with business goals.
Drive the evolution of front-end services, and APIs, taking ownership of architecture and technical decisions to enhance functionality and customer impact.
Work independently and collaboratively to deliver impactful features, ensuring high-quality delivery while managing team dynamics and timelines.
Build and lead end-to-end features across cloud, web, and mobile infrastructure, ensuring smooth integration and cohesive technical direction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, DevOps) to align technical direction, prioritize features, and refine customer solutions.
Experiment with new technologies and rapid feedback loops to drive innovation, keeping the team on the cutting edge.
Drive Agile development to ensure efficient execution, high-quality deliverables, and continuous iteration.
