About The Position

Hercules is looking for a senior or staff level frontend software engineer to help us build the future of AI software development. You will build and own user-facing interfaces and experiences across Hercules including our AI Agent, the AI harness that enables anyone to build powerful full-stack applications; App Builder, the interface that makes it ridiculously easy to build, preview, and deploy apps; Mobile app, our PWA-based mobile building experience; and Marketing pages, our public display pages for products, features, and docs.

Requirements

Strong software fundamentals including system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work effectively in monorepos.
Strong product sense with a track record of independently shipping features to customers.
Strong design sense with a focus on UX/UI using cutting-edge frontend innovations.
Proficiency in TypeScript and React.
Experience with AI to enhance workflow.
Willingness to work in US time zones and travel to the office regularly (for remote candidates).
Ability to operate at any level to get things done.

Nice To Haves

Experience with containers, Postgres, and Redis.
Experience with Cloudflare, AWS, AI SDK, Clickhouse, Tailwind, IaC (CDK, Terraform), Docker, Otel, Hono, Drizzle ORM, Temporal.
Experience with AI Models like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google.
