About the position
The Front End Engineer at iCapital Network will be responsible for working on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on the company's software platforms. They will collaborate closely with the Product Management team throughout the software development process, addressing issues found through manual test efforts and detailing requirements. The role requires expertise in React and other programming languages, as well as a desire to deliver end products for clients. The Front End Engineer will also contribute to code quality standards, optimize build times and web performance, and educate team members on front-end development.
Responsibilities
- Work with React 16.9+ to build reusable components with developer friendly APIs.
- Work with other teams to bootstrap new features or resolve defects as needed.
- Use Storybook to showcase UI components for other teams.
- Automate testing using Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library and Cucumber.
- Actively participate in Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change Management Process.
- Contribute to internal standards for front end code style and code quality.
- Tweak Webpack to optimize build times and web performance.
- Upgrade dependencies to keep our tech stack current.
- Educate team members on front end development.
Requirements
- Expertise in React 16.9+ and building reusable components with developer-friendly APIs

- Experience using Storybook to showcase UI components for other teams
- Proficiency in automating testing using Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, and Cucumber
