About The Position

Prime Video is forming a new organization to redefine its operational landscape through artificial intelligence. This role involves building the next generation of business automation using agentic AI solutions. The specific focus is on an AI-powered creative production platform for marketing key art composition, acting as a browser-based tool for creative professionals. This is a complex, canvas-based editor, similar in complexity to Photoshop or Figma, requiring deep browser expertise and a focus on performance and pixel-level precision.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Responsibilities

• Design and build a high-performance, browser-based creative editor with multi-layer canvas compositing, real-time image manipulation, and GPU-accelerated rendering for professional-grade creative workflows.
• Architect and optimize rendering pipelines for complex layer stacks, handling high-resolution assets, blend modes, masking, and non-destructive editing with fluid performance.
• Integrate AI/ML model outputs into interactive UI workflows, enabling users to generate, edit, and compose visual content through intuitive creative controls.
• Implement production file export capabilities (including PSD with preserved layer structure) and asset management features that serve downstream creative teams.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, applied scientists, and product managers to deliver on our product roadmap and solve customer problems across the full creative production pipeline.
• Own performance, reliability, and quality of the frontend platform — profiling, measuring, and optimizing to ensure the application feels responsive under demanding workloads.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions that will define the platform's technical foundation.
