About The Position

The Front-End/UI-UX Developer translates business requirements into intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling user experiences. The role focuses on UI/UX design, front-end development, dashboard and report design, and collaboration with business stakeholders to create user-centric applications that improve usability, accessibility, and engagement.

The developer designs and develops web applications using Angular and related front-end technologies, creates wireframes and prototypes, and leads UI/UX efforts. The role also includes developing Tableau dashboards and visualizations, integrating interfaces with APIs and enterprise systems, conducting usability research and testing, and improving user experiences based on feedback and analytics.

The position collaborates with business stakeholders, backend developers, architects, and cross-functional teams. Auto Club Enterprises is the largest club within the national AAA federation, with nearly 17,000 employees in 24 states serving more than 18 million members.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience designing and developing enterprise web applications is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Experience translating business requirements into wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, user-centered design methodologies, and front-end best practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Tableau dashboards, reports, visualizations, and data-driven user interfaces.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services and enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience implementing AI-powered user experiences, conversational interfaces, or AI-assisted analytics and reporting solutions.
• Experience modernizing legacy user interfaces and participating in cloud-based application migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise design systems, component libraries, and data visualization best practices.
• Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, Tableau, Front-End Development, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive, user-friendly web applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Gather requirements with business stakeholders and translate business processes into user interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and user experiences.
• Lead UI/UX design efforts, ensuring consistency, accessibility, usability, and adherence to enterprise design standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain reusable UI components, design systems, and front-end frameworks.
• Design, develop, and enhance Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide business insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with backend developers, architects, and business teams to integrate user interfaces with APIs and enterprise systems.
• Conduct usability testing and user research, and improve user experiences based on stakeholder feedback and analytics.
• Stay current with UI/UX, visualization, and front-end development trends and recommend approaches to improve engagement and application adoption.
