About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to help build and enhance the ConX (Constituent Experience) platform. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys creating fast, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces using modern JavaScript while collaborating closely with backend engineers working in Ruby. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality frontend applications and reusable web components that deliver exceptional user experiences. 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
Hands-on experience with Vite.

Working knowledge of Ruby and experience integrating with Ruby-based applications.
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and building accessible user interfaces.
Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
Build reusable, standards-based web components using modern JavaScript.
Develop frontend applications using Vite as the primary build tool.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Ruby-based services and APIs.
Ensure applications meet accessibility (WCAG) standards and follow best practices.
Optimize application performance, maintainability, and browser compatibility.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and engineering best practices.
Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across multiple browsers and devices.
