About The Position

3vGeomatics, a member of Orica Digital Solutions, a remote monitoring product leader, is looking for a Frontend Developer to join their innovative team. This role will focus on their web-based SaaS platform, Motionary, which customers use to interact with and interpret InSAR data. The position will support and provide leadership in developing and maintaining 3vG’s web tools, APIs, and product delivery systems. Requirements

A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Software Development with some exposure to AWS Infrastructure.
Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

Some exposure to leadership or mentorship roles is an asset.
Experience applying UX/UI design principles in publicly available products.
Familiarity with Agile product management practices is an asset.
Experience with GIS technologies or mapping is an asset.
Exposure to Backend or Python development is an asset.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in the development and delivery of software projects, actively participating in technical problem-solving and team collaboration.
Build and enhance understanding of design principles, software testing, and development best practices, with a focus on frontend web development.
Work with RESTful APIs, developing familiarity with their design and security best practices.
Develop applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a primary focus on React/Redux, as well as Angular or Vue.
Gain hands-on experience with Docker and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to learning, addressing any knowledge gaps as needed.
Operate within Agile methodologies to support the successful completion of projects.
