About The Position

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. This role is important for managing customer service tasks, including cashiering and merchandising. The Front Store Supervisor ensures that front-end and merchandising staff adhere to all operational policies and procedures, trains cashiers and merchandisers, and provides guidance. They are responsible for implementing loss prevention standards, managing inventory in the counting area, and tracking cashiers, logs, and PC Optimum procedures. The supervisor ensures employees present a proper image to the public, handles customer inquiries, resolves customer issues according to guidelines (e.g., refunds and exchanges), and promotes the ISSC survey. They also ensure shelves are clean and organized with proper rotation, and that product displays are set up and removed according to management directives. General duties include maintaining store cleanliness and image standards, adhering to health and safety requirements, performing office and banking tasks as needed, and following all store policies and procedures, including loss prevention. The role may also involve performing other duties as required, including cashier tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure front-end and merchandising staff adhere to all operational policies and procedures.
  • Train cashiers and merchandisers on duty.
  • Provide advice and guidance.
  • Ensure all loss prevention standards are in place.
  • Manage daily inventory of the counting area and track cashiers, logs, and PC Optimum procedures.
  • Ensure employees present a proper image to the public in accordance with the uniform policy.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding product location, rain checks, etc.
  • Resolve customer issues in accordance with established guidelines (e.g., refunds and exchanges).
  • Promote the ISSC survey.
  • Ensure shelves are clean and organized with proper rotation.
  • Ensure product displays are set up and removed according to store manager and assistant manager directives.
  • Ensure store cleaning and image standards are maintained.
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements.
  • Perform office and banking tasks, as requested.
  • Comply with all store policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure their execution in the store.
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cashier duties.
