About The Position

Mint Health & Drugs is seeking a Part time Front End Clerk to join our Calmar, AB team. Front End Clerks are focused on providing excellent customer service from the minute they enter the store, until they pay for the purchase and exit the store. Key duties include bagging items, processing payments, managing returns, maintaining store cleanliness, and organizing merchandise. The role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Strong verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift items.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to handle stressful situations.
• Ability to work independently
• Saturday only 1 staff required

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, scanning items, handling cash/card payments, processing returns, and resolving customer complaints.
• Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, cleaning spills, and organizing displays.
• Returning unwanted items to shelves (go-backs) and restocking front-end inventory.
• Following health and safety policies
