About The Position

The primary function of Inside Sales is to provide product knowledge on building materials including drywall, insulation, metal studs for drywall, ceiling systems, stucco, construction tools, construction safety items, drywall compound, and accessories for the drywall industry. The role involves taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone, building relationships with customers, and using the company computer system to enter orders. The position requires completing sales orders and tender cash sales, developing product knowledge to assist customers, and collaborating with other sales team members to determine strategic sales approaches. Key responsibilities also include overcoming objections, emphasizing product/service features and benefits, quoting prices, discussing credit terms, and preparing sales order forms and/or reports.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
