The Whole Health Clinic is the first Banner integrated clinic that consists of behavioral health specialists and primary care services all in one. We also have the Early Psychosis Intervention Center (EPICenter) which is the first of its type of clinic in the Tucson area. As a patient financial services representative, you will be responsible for scheduling, pre-registration, registration, insurance verification/authorizations, obtaining signatures for various forms, documenting info, creating patient estimates, collecting co-pay, deductible and past balance. The PFS must be able to discuss financial responsibility with patients and or families and providing assistance or proper paperwork, communicate with all clinical staff, multi -taking, high volume appointments and phone calls . This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday, day shift (Hours vary) clinic is open M-TH from 7:30am-7:00pm and Fridays from 7:30am-5:00pm. We are offering the option to work 4 day, 10 hour work week) Banner University Medical Group is our nonprofit faculty practice plan associated with the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine in Phoenix and Tucson. Our 1,100-plus clinicians provide primary and specialty care to patients at highly ranked Banner - University Medical Centers and dozens of clinics while providing mentorship to more than 1,200 residents and fellows. POSITION SUMMARY This position coordinates a smooth patient flow process by answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, providing registration of patient and insurance information, obtaining required signatures following established processes, procedures and standards. This position also verifies insurance coverage, validates referrals and authorizations, collects patient liability and provides financial guidance to patients to maximize medical services reimbursement efforts. This also includes accurately posting patients at the point of service and releasing information in accordance with organizational and compliance policies and guidelines.
