The Front Office Manager will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, and maintaining positive guest relations. This role involves greeting and communicating cordially with guests, and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel. A key part of the role is ensuring proper staffing levels of front office associates, which includes interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling front desk agents, front office supervisors, guest service aides/bell staff, concierge staff, and PBX operators. The manager will also resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction through investigation and creative problem-solving. Additionally, the role requires accurate management and operation of the MICROS system at the front office, including daily transactions and less frequent operations.
