About The Position

The Hilton Austin Airport is looking for a Front Office Manager to help lead the team! This position reports to the General Manager and helps oversee a team of between 15-20 ppl. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy leader who has experience in a high-volume operation and a talent for mentoring others. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience Front Office management experience. Knowledge of PEP is preferred. Who We Are: The recently refreshed Hilton is located in the historic Air Force command building right on Austin-Bergstrom International Airport property. We are proud to be Austin's gateway full-service hotel. The hotel is managed by Pittsburgh, PA based Prospera Hospitality, with over 20 years of property management experience in hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience, including front desk operations experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PEP is preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Front Office operations, including guest check-in/check-out, room inventory, service standards, quality control, cost management, systems usage, budgeting, forecasting, and policy enforcement.
  • Lead, schedule, train, and develop Front Office team members through coaching, performance evaluations, counseling, and recognition.
  • Monitor guest service and satisfaction trends, address service gaps, and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively engage with guests, respond to inquiries and concerns, resolve complaints, and manage guest recovery efforts, including brand Guest Alerts.
  • Drive revenue through effective up-selling strategies and ensure team knowledge of hotel services, amenities, pricing, and local attractions.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members and complete audit and operational controls as assigned.
