About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office Department and ensuring the delivery of attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests before arrival and throughout their stay.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel front office management or supervisor experience required
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity while in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Strong working knowledge of hotel operations, front desk procedures, and guest service standards
  • Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office or similar applications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle guest concerns and employee issues with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Requires a background check upon offer
  • Requires a pre-employment drug screen upon offer

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Front Office team members to ensure daily operational responsibilities are met
  • Conduct regular department meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and upcoming events
  • Manage team member scheduling and approve payroll for the Front Office Department
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to support individual and team performance
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard Front Office team members in alignment with staffing needs and service standards
  • Address guest requests, concerns, complaints, and disturbances promptly and professionally
  • Maintain inventory of Front Office operating supplies, including key cards, stationery, and related materials
  • Maintain daily records of room availability and rates; set and balance the house daily, including room assignments
  • Protect confidential guest and proprietary information in accordance with company policies
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with team members and other departments
  • Demonstrate full proficiency in the property management system, including reservations, inventory, reporting, room blocks, and billing
  • Partner closely with the Housekeeping Department to ensure guest rooms are prepared in a timely manner and aligned with daily reservations
  • Ensure proper processes for logging, handling, and delivery of packages, mail, and guest messages
  • Other duties as assigned by management
