About The Position

Claremont Company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee our front desk operations at the AC Hotel Worcester. This role involves managing all aspects of the department, including operations, planning, budgeting, staffing, and payroll. The Front Office Manager provides leadership and support to all members of the Front Office team, ensuring memorable guest experiences and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in a supervisory role in hospitality.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Proficient in Windows-based programs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs., and stand/walk for extended periods.

  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate Front Office staff, ensuring they follow the Seven Principles of Service.
  • Act as the manager on duty, handling complaints, problem-solving, and special requests.
  • Inform staff of daily activities, VIP arrivals, and special requests.
  • Ensure accommodations meet guest expectations.
  • Take full responsibility for department scheduling and work front desk shifts as needed.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping to enhance guest services and communication.
  • Hold monthly meetings to keep staff informed and promote a strong team culture.
  • Enforce emergency and safety procedures, ensuring staff are fully trained.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support hotel operations.
