About The Position

First impressions are everything! Are you a hospitality professional seeking an opportunity to advance your current skills and abilities? As a VIP Concierge you will have the opportunity to provide the highest level of personalized service and creating memorable experiences for our VIP guests. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of both the hotel and the surrounding area.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year’s previous Hotel experience in Front Office, Guest Services, Concierge or Royal Service
  • Excellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager
  • Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher
  • Complete knowledge of all hotel’s facilities and tourist attractions/ activities in the Town of Banff
  • Clean driving record and Class 5 license
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Les Clefs d’Or membership an asset, or are currently working towards membership
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
  • Food & Beverage Experience an asset

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service to VIP and high-profile guests by coordinating all aspects of their stay, from pre-arrival planning through post-departure follow-up, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences.
  • Provide expert knowledge and assistance regarding hotel services, dining, spa, golf, resort activities, local attractions, transportation, and tour arrangements while facilitating reservations and customized itineraries.
  • Build meaningful guest relationships through professional meet-and-greet interactions, proactive communication, and personalized attention throughout the guest journey.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively by empowering colleagues, tracking service recovery efforts, and ensuring all requests and special arrangements are handled with care and efficiency.
  • Maintain a professional, collaborative, and service-focused environment by upholding the hotel’s service standards, demonstrating leadership values, and supporting operational systems and administrative duties as required.
