About The Position

As the Front Office Agent, you set the tone for the guest experience. You start the Gateway experience for our visitors by delivering a welcoming energy that helps ensure a memorable experience for our guests. Requirements

  • Front Desk experience in a fully automated hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Hotel and Hospitality Diploma is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced business environment and well under pressure.
  • Able to talk and type at the same time and be able to type 60 WPM (will be tested).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods (regular work shift is eight hours).
  • Able to bend twist and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of LMS, CRS, VISION, MAGMA, and WEBWORKS are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Completes all daily shift check lists.
  • Pre-registers incoming bus groups and packages.
  • Provides retail quotes and reservations as required.
  • Checks guests in and out, utilizing the CRS and LMS system.
  • Provides guests with information regarding daily events to prompt our services and products.
  • Responds to guests concerns, comments, and questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintains guest confidentiality.
  • Handles all transactions in an accurate manner; report errors immediate to supervisors.
  • Performs all billing, discounted rates and retail rates billing as required.
  • Completes daily reports as assigned by management and other duties assigned by management.
