About The Position

Granite Summit Front of House Job Description. This role is in the Housekeeping Department and reports to the FOH Housekeeping Lead. The primary responsibility is to keep all public areas in Huckleberry Hall clean, disinfected, and in orderly condition. This includes performing heavy cleaning duties, notifying management of the need for repairs, and acting as a concierge to assist guests with camp information.

Responsibilities

Assisting guests with questions.
Sweeping all public area floors and stairs throughout the day.
Mopping all public area floors and stairs throughout the day.
Vacuuming carpet floors as needed.
Cleaning all glass (windows, mirrors, etc.), inside and outside as needed.
Emptying the trash and replacing the bag in all public areas, including small trash cans in the dining hall.
Sanitizing doorknobs and handrails throughout the day.
Cleaning and maintaining all bathrooms in Huckleberry Hall and on-site as needed.
Cleaning and sweeping all floors throughout the day.
Keeping public refrigerators clean and organized.
Sanitizing dining room tables and chairs between mealtimes.
Dusting and cleaning walls, windowsills, and ledges throughout the entire building regularly.
Sanitizing all public areas.
Cleaning the conference room vacuum when guests check out.
Vacuuming OE offices once a week and emptying trash cans as needed.
Cleaning any spills or accidents in public areas.
