About The Position
This Front of House position at a franchised McAlister’s Deli location may include busser and food runner duties. Bussers prepare the dining room for guests by cleaning tables and chairs, maintaining table settings, removing completed plates, and watching for spills or other guest needs. They also clean the dining room, sweep floors, remove trash, clean up spills, and follow sanitation and safety policies. Food runners deliver orders to guests in the dining room, ensure guests have what they need, refill drinks, and respond to requests after food has been delivered. Both roles may perform other duties as requested by management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the dining room for guests by cleaning tables and chairs.
- Maintain table settings by removing plates as guests finish and watching for spills or other special needs.
- Clean chairs and tables, sweep floors, remove trash, and clean up spills.
- Deliver orders to guests in the dining room and ensure they have what they need.
- Refill drinks and respond to guest requests after food has been delivered.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety policies to protect the establishment and guests.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
