About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, guest-focused Front of House team member. The Front of House team member is responsible for providing amazing customer service, cashiering, preparing, and serving food and beverages, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can balance hospitality with accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or Culinary Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience - food service or hospitality experience highly preferred
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and team development
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented under pressure
  • High standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
  • Reliability, accountability, and a collaborative mindset
  • Current Oregon Food Handler's card
  • Current OLCC permit
  • Must have flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation is required

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service: task pivot and converse with customers
  • Engage in active selling
  • Sale and promotion of products; Help direct customers around the store and menu
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge
  • Produce all food and beverage items precisely according to Elephant's recipes
  • Properly use equipment as specified by Manager and//or trainer
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Cross-train in various FOH roles
  • Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
  • Monitor workflow and pace during peak hours
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
