About The Position

The FOH Team Member will work in collaboration with the F&B Leadership Team and other team members to deliver exemplary service to all guests. This position displays warm hospitality while supporting the full scope of all stations and performs all FOH duties and responsibilities efficiently. The FOH Team Member is expected to be knowledgeable of all menu items, food safety procedures and POS duties to properly address any guest inquries.

Requirements

  • Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as holidays.
  • Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
  • Valid and current Food Handlers License from the Department of Health or ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate is required
  • 1+ years in the Food & Beverage industry
  • 1+ years in a high-volume customer-facing role
  • 1+ years processing cash and card transactions through a POS system
  • Multitasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor
  • Ability to lift and move 30lbs.
  • Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes all guests and informs them of any specials, new menu items, while answering any questions they may have.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sterilized FOH countertop, display area, and outside dining area.
  • Inform guests of the Kith Loyalty app and encourage them to join to earn rewards
  • Remain educated on all food and beverage offerings on our menu, including individual ingredients, to ensure potential allergens are communicated with all guests.
  • Have a general understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards.
  • Immediately address any customer issues, questions, and overall comments. They will properly partner with the MOD and management team to address any matters that they are unable to resolve on their own for the guest
  • Continuously manage and maintain physical inventories of all FOH food products, paper goods, and take-out supplies.
  • Effectively communicate any inventory needs, maintenance issues, or overall concerns with the MOD and management team
  • Properly close out and drop the cash register at the end of each shift, ensuring accurate cash handling and no shortages
  • Assist the F&B Leadership Team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Assist execution of any on/off-site events, including but not limited to pop-up events, private guests’ events held outside of normal business hours.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work area, by completing any standard cleaning procedures commonly associated with a food & beverage outpost.
  • Participate and assist in Physical Inventories as required by the business.
  • Assist the Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.
