About The Position

At Denny’s, our Servers create the experience—not just deliver the food. Welcome every guest with energy and set the tone for a great visit. Take accurate orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen. Deliver food and drinks quickly, correctly, and with attention to detail. Guide guests through the menu with confident recommendations and suggestions. Use smart upselling to highlight specials, combos, and guest favorites. Ask the right questions to enhance the experience and increase check average. Introduce guests to the Denny’s Rewards Program and its benefits. Keep the dining area clean, organized, and ready for the next guest. Process payments efficiently (cash, card, digital). Work as part of a team with both FOH and BOH to keep service running smoothly.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter/Waitress, or in a guest-facing role preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence engaging with guests, making recommendations, and upselling
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+ with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
