This position is intended for a current student at McGill University who has been accepted to the Work Study program. Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front of house, maintaining the schedule of event staffers and box office attendants, liaising with administration and production personnel, welcoming the general public, scanning or tearing tickets, distributing programs, answering general questions, and coordinating hall personnel for rental clients. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
