About The Position
This role focuses on providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. Responsibilities include cashier duties, bagging groceries, cleaning, merchandising, stocking, rotating product, and facing shelves. Essential functions involve maintaining a positive team atmosphere, accurately handling cash transactions, carrying groceries to customer vehicles, ensuring product freshness by rotating merchandise and removing expired items, greeting customers, maintaining a neat appearance according to company policy, keeping store shelves stocked, assisting with display building, adhering to departmental policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean work area and check stand. The position also requires learning, following, and modeling all safety operating procedures and abiding by all company policies.
Requirements
- Provide a World-Famous Friendly attitude to customers & team members.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read case labels and shelf tags.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to multi-task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to count change & balance cash drawer.
- Ability to learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
- Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors.
- Act as a Cashier, including greeting customers, smiling, and counting back change accurately.
- Bag groceries, keeping like items together.
- Carry out groceries to customers' vehicles.
- Rotate perishable merchandise and remove out-of-date product.
- Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
- Maintain a neat appearance according to the company’s dress code policy.
- Keep store shelves fully stocked according to information provided.
- Assist in building store displays.
- Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
- Keep work area and check stand clean.
- Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
- Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
