About The Position

The front end assistant is responsible for taking efficient care of the front end office and back office at all times during working hours. He/she is responsible for taking care of the complaints of the customers so that they are satisfied with the work. He/she should also be efficient in handling complaints that come for his department. The front end assistant directs and supervises the employees engaged in sales, inventory taking, or customer satisfaction. He/she takes care of recruitment done for front-end duties. He makes sure that the people employed are efficient and know the duties and responsibilities of this job well. He supervises them in order to avoid any type of flaws. The front end assistant reviews the inventory and helps in planning and compiling of the budget. He/she is also responsible for training the cashiers and the head cashiers so that the monetary work can take place smoothly. He/she also takes care that the cashiers are good in their work so that no mistake happens. Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
