About The Position

Southern Oregon Goodwill is seeking a dynamic Front End Lead to join their fast-paced, high-energy team. This role oversees daily store operations, drives sales, and leads a team committed to excellence, all while supporting the mission of enabling employment and promoting sustainable practices. The position is based in Central Point, Oregon.

Requirements

Sufficient knowledge of brand-name clothing, collectibles, antiques, and other items to determine worth and quality.
Ability to speak and understand English sufficient to read materials and communicate with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Ability to operate and be certified in powerlifting equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years recent experience in a Goodwill production or retail system.
Experience operating various production equipment, including electronic cash registers and other retail sales equipment.
Basic proficiency in Word, Outlook Mail and Calendaring.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail leadership production or comparable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of production and retail duties, including customer service, cashiering, sorting donated items, pricing, rotating items, working the retail sales floor, dressing room upkeep, maintenance of department equipment, and inventories.
Ensures sales floor functions run smoothly and effectively without sacrificing customer service and efficiency.
Trains and may directly supervise retail associates and program participants.
Provides input to store manager regarding employee performance.
Ensures each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and clean environment, greeting, and acknowledging every customer, and all other aspects of customer service.
