About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by processing customer purchases accurately and providing friendly, efficient assistance. Tasks include scanning items, bagging groceries, answering questions, and handling cash, card, and digital payments. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently by rotating among checkout, cart retrieval, supply restocking, and checkout-area upkeep. The role involves a steady flow of customers and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or at least 18 depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan and price items, enter produce codes, and complete orders accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions or checkout needs.
• Collect carts and restock supplies.
• Keep the checkout area and front end clean, organized, and operating consistently.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
