About The Position

Join Apple’s Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization as a Frontend Engineer on the Apple Online Store Engineering team. You will help shape the future of Apple’s e-commerce platform by building and maintaining high-performance web applications, delivering exceptional customer experiences across devices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative designs to life. IS&T is responsible for supporting 2.5 billion active Apple devices, processing billions of secure transactions, and ensuring the technology that defines modern life runs flawlessly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of frontend development experience building consumer-facing applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, browser behavior, and web performance.
• Experience integrating with APIs and working with Git, build tools, and CI/CD.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with React, TypeScript, or Next.js
• Familiarity with GraphQL, automated testing, and design systems.
• Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and browser rendering performance.
• Experience building high-traffic, global, or e-commerce applications.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating polished customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications for Apple’s global online store.
• Partner with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver production-quality customer experiences.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend code using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as React.
• Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, and backend services.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, shared components, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Evaluate new web technologies and help evolve scalable frontend solutions.
