About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leader in cloud computing, and the AWS Partner Network (APN) is a vital ecosystem of consulting and technology partners that promote AWS globally. The APN offers services like partner qualification validation, lead/opportunity sharing, training, marketing assistance, and funding reimbursement. The AWS Partner Systems team supports external and internal stakeholders, including partners, customers, and internal teams driving AWS sales and adoption through partners. The Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization is responsible for revenue, adoption, and growth across various customer segments, from small businesses to large enterprises and the public sector. The AWS Global Support team works with leading companies and emphasizes world-class support for customer success. As a Front-End Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build user-facing software components, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to innovation and a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
  • 3+ years of professional front end development experience
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of agile software development methodology experience
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Responsibilities

  • Deliver software components and improvements to software features with your team’s software.
  • Work with stakeholders and product partners to deliver high-quality UX.
  • Take feature specifications and deliver working code that is maintainable and extendable.
  • Help provide operational support for your team and work to ensure that root causes are identified and resolved.
  • Participate in code reviews and daily stand-ups.
  • Collaborate with your team to positively impact the software quality, customer experience, and maintainability of your team’s products.
