This role of for an experienced Frontend Software Engineer who will design, implement, and operate globally available distributed systems geared towards customer education, procurement, and management of Leo services and devices. You’ll build systems using the latest technologies, leveraging best-in-industry software engineering practices. This role is for an FEE who will design, build, and maintain components and services of Amazon Leo's Customer Engagement Systems and interact with the core Leo Network. About the team: The Optical Inter-Satellite Link (OISL) organization is responsible for the design and development of hardware and software that enables laser-based communication between satellites. As we rapidly scale, we are establishing a new Network Automation team and seeking a Front End Engineer to help build and lead it. In this role, you will drive the development of software applications that deliver intuitive user experiences, streamline fault troubleshooting, and simplify network reporting. You will leverage ML/AI technologies to detect and correlate anomalies across the space network, identify root causes, predict customer impacts, and present insights through clear, actionable timelines.
