About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a Front End Engineer to join their Brand Web team. This role involves working at the intersection of design and development to build and maintain Anthropic's web properties, including anthropic.com and claude.com. The engineer will contribute to shipping high-quality web experiences, such as interactive marketing pages, data visualizations, and internal tooling. The position requires close collaboration with designers, engineers, and brand and content teams to translate design intent into production-ready code, with an emphasis on rapid prototyping and iteration.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Next.js or similar React-based tooling.
  • Comfort working within a design system.
  • Understanding of CSS sufficient to implement complex layouts, animations, and interactive experiences with precision.
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms, including content modeling, structured data workflows, and site operations.
  • Experience building internal tools or contributing to workflows that improve team productivity.
  • Ability to prototype quickly and iterate confidently.
  • Clear communication skills with both designers and engineers.
  • Track record of contributing to production web properties at a mid-level scope.
  • Motivation to grow into owning larger, more complex projects.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Own implementation of design system components and page templates across web properties, focusing on interactive pages, data visualizations, and tools.
  • Work within a headless CMS architecture, maintaining and improving content modeling, structured data workflows, and the publishing experience.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate static designs into interactive web experiences.
  • Contribute to internal tools that assist teams in authoring, managing, and publishing content at scale.
  • Participate in migrations and site architecture projects, taking on defined scopes within larger efforts.
  • Move quickly from concept to working prototype, iterating in close collaboration with the team.
  • Support tooling and workflow improvements to help the team ship faster.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
